Backpack tips
Chose a backpack with an outside water bottle holder.
Water bottles leaking in backpacks can ruin homework and books. Do not label the student's backpack where a stranger can view the child's name.

Personal Item Tips
Put your child's name on all personal items including lunchbox, coats, scarves, mittens, gloves, and hats, sweaters, gym gear, etc. This makes it easy to return lost items to their owners. Many personal items look alike and it's easier to return it when the personal items are labeled.
